AGREEMENT POLICY:

By paying the initial deposit and agreeing that this document has been read at the time of booking, the client hereby agrees to all terms and conditions underneath.

BOOKING PAYMENT & CANCELATION POLICY

BOOKING: For all portrait sessions, a non-refundable session retainer is required to book and hold the date for your session, and it serves as a cancelation fee. However, the retainer can be credited towards a future session upon the photographer's approval. All remaining balances are due at the time of the session.

 

CANCELATION/RESCHEDULING POLICY: 

If you are unable to make your photo session, all deposits will act as a cancelation fee. If the session needs to be rescheduled for any reason, a $150 rescheduling fee will be added to your open invoice. The photographer reserves the right to deny service to any client(s) who repeatedly have a history of cancellations. 

For maternity cancelations you  6 months from thedate to use the credit if you do not use the credit within 6 months the credit will no longer be valid.

How far in advance should I begin setting up a maternity appointment ( Pregnancy photo appointments ) 

The best time you should begin reserving with a photographer is after you turn 10 weeks, Our schedule is mostly booked throughout the year; we have weddings, engagements, branding, lifestyle, and other personal photo appointments besides maternity.  Please book with time to secure your appointment in our schedule.

When is the best time to capture maternity photos? ( Pregnancy photo appointments ) 

The best time to get maternity photos captured is ( 21 to 25 weeks for twin babies ) - ( 26 to 31 weeks for one single baby ) 

After 31 weeks, we no longer accept taking maternity photo appointments. It becomes tough for our mothers to post and look or feel comfortable. 

Book in advance, and we guarantee beautiful results and experience.

Miscarriage ( Pregnancy photo appointments ) 

If KD Photo Studio cannot perform this contract due to you suffering a miscarriage before the photo session, then the photographer shall return the retainer fee to the client. 

 

Bed rest / early labor ( Pregnancy photo appointments ) 

If you go into bed rest or labor before your photo appointment: money is non-refundable. Still, you can use the retainer as credit for mommy and me photos or a family session with your baby.

Before re-scheduling, there is no guarantee there will be any slots available within 3 to 4 weeks; please note this, money is

non-refundable, with no exceptions if we can't get you in sooner, a $150 rescheduling fee will be added to your open invoice. The photographer reserves the right to deny service to any client(s) who repeatedly have a history of cancellations.

Makeup & hair Artist's information:  

The photography price package does not include makeup and hair services. You are welcome to do it yourself or hire our pro artist's.

If you need a professional artist, KD Photo Studio has a preferred makeup and hair team that will get you glam ready in the studio. 

We advise you to get makeup and hair glam at the photo studio. This way, your makeup and hair will look fresh in front of the camera. Also, it will be easier for the customer to keep everything in one location during the photoshoot day instead of traveling to multiple locations. 

All our preferred glam artist specializes in photo studio lighting makeup. You can access our glam artist referral link below; all of the glam artist's current rates are listed in their gallery and attached with their contact information and photos of their work. 

You can contact and arrange makeup and hair appointments directly with the artist after you confirm the photo appointment.

For outside our preferred makeup and hair artist policy: 

Artists outside the preferred referral list are welcome to come and use the photo studio glam space area before the photo shoot appointment to perform hair or makeup on you as long as you the client agrees to cover the $68 . ( No exceptions ) to reserve the studio glam area space it is $68 you get a 60 minutes reservation. 

 

Wardrobe styling service: After confirming your appointment, you will get an access code to KD Photo Studio's entire most current wardrobe catalog. 

We have new clothes that get added to our wardrobe gallery every month that hasn't gotten the chance to be captured in photographs. 

We only offer clothes for women and babies of 6 up to 24 months.

If you are thinking of adding your partner or kids to your photos, please note we do not provide clothes for big kids or men; you must bring their clothes. You must select outfits looks before your appointment date. No, you are not allowed to make changes on the day of the session as we prepare clothes before your appointment. You are also welcome to bring your outfits (the photo price does not change if you get your clothes yourself ).  Wardrobe gallery link 

 

You want a custom design or color: Yes, we can make it happen. We can order a wardrobe for you. For custom-designed gowns or fabric requests, we do not do consultations through emails, phone, or social media, with no exceptions. Suppose you want us to create something new that is not in KD Photo Studio's current wardrobe gallery. In that case, you must set up an appointment to come in person for a free 30 min consultation with the Photographer and creative director Karla. During the consultation, the photographer and you will review the wardrobe, backdrops, sets, and props. After carefully reviewing everything you are requesting and clearly understanding what you want. We will give you the total prices for custom work. For custom wardrobe orders, you must give KD Photo Studio a minimum of 2 months to get everything together.

Flowy fabric set: To save you $199, you are welcome to bring your partner, friend, or a family member to the photo session to help throw the fabric up while the photographer takes your photos.

If you do not have anyone to come with you during the photo session, let us know in advance to bring a PA to assist on the day of the session

Backdrops and props catalog: After confirming your appointment, you will get an access code to KD Photo Studio's entire most current backdrops and props we offer. We offer different backdrop colors, sets, and props. You must select the sets or backdrops before your appointment date. No, you are not allowed to change the background or settings on the day of the session as we prepare the studio before your appointment date  Backdrops & sets gallery link 

 

You want us to create a custom backdrop or prop set up: For custom-designed photoshoot requests, we do not do consultations through emails, phone, or social media. No exceptions.

Suppose you want us to create something new that is not in KD Photo Studio's website gallery. In that case, you must set up an appointment to come in person for a free 30 min consultation with the photographer and creative director, Karla.  During the consultation, the photographer and you will review the wardrobe, props, backdrops, sets, or location if requesting an outdoor photo session. 

After carefully reviewing everything you are requesting and clearly understanding what you want, we will give you the total prices for custom work. 

For a custom photo request, you must give KD Photo Studio a minimum of 2 months to get everything together. 

 

Colorful flower sets: If you are interested in doing a set that involves colorful flowers, please note these sets are created with real fresh flowers. The flower arrangements are not included in the photography price. We have our flower shop vendors who we have partnered with.

KD Photo Studio will handle the flower shop booking services for the client. The flowers must be paid in full in order to make reservations with the flower shop.  The flower shop will deliver, set up, and clean up after we are done shooting. You are also welcome to take the flowers home with you. 

 

Payment policy: Payment information will be emailed to the client when the client is ready to make the payment.

For anyone to secure your appointment date, you first need to pay an online retainer of 50% of the total service fee.
The final amount is due the day of the photoshoot in person.

 

Form of payments we accept:

• Credit cards: there is a processing fee of 4%

Outdoor photo service: $299 travel fee within 60 miles of Los Angeles, CA 90015. 

 

You can not be late for your appointment: It is not acceptable: If you are late and need to push the photo session 30 minutes or 1 hour, it is a $60 extra fee to go over the original studio appointment time. There is no guarantee I can push your appointment to a later time if we have a second group schedule right after you, with no exceptions.

 

Photo turnaround and process: We do not offer a rush editing service due to our high number of appointments; you must respect the standard timeframe; sorry, no exceptions.

• The client will receive raw photos within 3 business days of the photo session through a private online gallery. 

• We give the client up to 4 days to select the images they want to be retouched and send their list of favorite images to us so we can have the editors begin the editing process. 

• Photo retouching turnaround time is 5 to 7 business days from when the client sends their list to us.

 

Photo retouching services include: 

• Full airbrush skin editing

• Fix background paper & photo cropping

• Give you an airbrush skin finish. 

• Remove blemishes, redness, strawberry skin, scar, acne, and brown spots.

• Remove unwanted tattoos. 

• Removes large pores

• Removes cellulite, and stretch marks

• Removes tan lines

• Removes extra hair flyaways

• Removes double chins, neck rolls, and wrinkles. 

• Removes body rolls and will give you face and body sculpting if requested by the client.

You want to add additional edits to your list: $30 per edit. 

​

Difference between raw images and retouched edited images: Professional high-resolution cameras do not have filters; therefore, the raw photos will show the raw version of you without any photo retouching filters or cropping. 

 

Photo Printing: The photography price package does not include printing. KD Photo Studio has linked up with a high-quality photo printing shop. You will get access to purchase high-quality prints through the online gallery and ship them to your home. You are also welcome to print anywhere you prefer.

 

Never have modeled before: Do not worry; Photographer will show you what to do. Photographer will direct you during the session; you do not have to create any poses yourself. The photographer will find the best angles and poses to suit your body shape and tell you what to do with your arm, legs, and facial expression. 

 

Are photos kept private: At KD Photo Studio, we respect our client's privacy and understand not everyone wants exposure. All images are private; Your photos will not be exposed to the website or any social media. 

 

You want to be featured on KD Photo Studio's website or social media: In that case, You must sign a signature consent agreement saying you allow KD Photo Studio to feature your pictures on the website or social media.
